<p>PURPOSE: To position a closing member alongside, above or below an actuating element by transferring security conditions by means of a gear consisting of a spur gear element which can rotate together with the closing member and another gear element which meshes with the spur gear element. CONSTITUTION: To transfer a pushbutton 8 from a condition in which a security system is turned off to a condition in which the system is turned on, a key when inserted is rotated rightward about 90 degrees from a vertical removed condition. Next, the cylinder center portion 21 of a cylinder 9 rotates relative to a cylinder case 20 and a spur gear element 19 rotates clockwise; also, a spur gear element 18 rotates counterclockwise and the end faces of tripping studs 32, 33 are opposed to the apex of a tripping lever 30. When the key is released, a ball catch device 25 enters a depression 26 to maintain the spur gear element 18 in its rotating condition.</p> |
