System carrier for top-pan electronic precision balances

In a system carrier (1) for top-pan electronic precision balances which is made from a one-piece cast block with a system base (15, 18) which can be fixed at fixed points or which forms fixed points, an integrated parallel guidance system having upper guides and lower guides (4, 5), which have thin places (7) between their centre sections for a load pick-up (2) which is movable vertically relative to the system base (15, 18) under load, and a pick-up bearing for means (M/SP) for measurement conversion and/or load compensation arranged in the system base (15, 18), the system base (15, 18), the broad base, the load pick-up (2, 10), the narrow base and the upper and lower guides (4, 5) forming the sides of a symmetrical trapezium, and the load pick-up (2) having pick-up bearings (11) for the load pan in side extensions (10), to increase the torsional stiffness and to improve the corner load behaviour, the system base (15, 18) and the load pick-up (2, 10) are formed as a box profile open to the side and the side extensions (10) of the load pick-up (2, 10) are extended somewhat into the side outline of the system base (15, 18) and fastening bearings (11) are arranged on their ends for a load pick-up frame surrounding the system base (15, 18) in a free-floating manner (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
