A two-for-one twisting spindle, onto the delivery-bobbin carrier of which can be concentrically slipped axially one above the other two delivery bobbins, in which arrangement, from which the threads are drawn off overhead and run jointly into the thread-entry tube, before the entry of the threads into the thread-entry tube, one thread runs through a loop of a thread-guide ring rotating about the spindle axis, whilst the other thread is guided along the periphery of the thread-guide ring, is characterized in that the loop has a threading-in slot. In a two-for-one twisting spindle having a bobbin pot surrounding the delivery-bobbin carrier, provision is made, furthermore, for the bobbin pot to have towards the top a hood-shaped attachment body which terminates below the thread-entry end of the thread-entry tube and which has an upper orifice which is concentric relative to the spindle axis and on the inner circumference of which the threads slide along and, at the same time, are additionally deflected between the thread-guide ring and the thread-entry tube.
