MANUFACTURING METHOD OF A FINE PLATE WITH HIGH HARDNESS

A slender plate (9) with high hardness is utilized in a slide contact part or a rolling guide part to be implanted in a castmetal body. The mfg. method involves a raw-material setting process and a machining process. The setting process is to set an I-shaped raw- material (1) having a T-leg (3) into a T-groove (6) formed in a jig (4) detachably mounted on a table (7) of a surface heat treatment appts.. The machining process is to dismount the surface-hardened material from the jig and to machine its bottom and its both sides in a required size.
