A measurement cylinder (1) is thick-walled, threaded at one end of its outer periphery, and with a bevelling at the same end at the commencement of the inner periphery. Its other end is closed around a shaft passage (7) and connections to high pressure lines. Closure of this end is by a screw cover with threads which fit to the cylinder outer periphery. The cover has a guide which centres it in the cylinder, and a centrally positioned a shaft passage. - In the cylinder and via the shaft passage, two exchangeable piston-connecting rods with different dimensions run, one (11) of which is cylindrical and smooth, whilst the other (4) is cylindrical and provided with a measurement piston comprising a ring with its external surface straight in an axial direction, and fixed to the connecting rod by spokes between which the medium to be measured can pass. This obviates pressure build-up, and in one spoke is a temp. indicator located near the ring outer periphery. A hydraulic cylinder (9) drives the piston connecting rods, and functions with constant speed. |
