PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconducting material having a uniform composition free from unreacted part, by adding water to a solution of two compounds selected from specific two element groups of the periodic table in an organic solvent, hydrolyzing, condensing through dehydration and heating the solution. CONSTITUTION:The first compound consisting of one or more of an alkoxide, carboxylic acid ester and acetyl acetate of one element of elements of groups Ia, IIa and IIIa of the periodic table, such as Li, Be, Se, etc., is prepared. On the other hand, the second compound consisting of one or more of an alkoxide, carboxylic acid ester and acetyl acetate of one element of elements of groups Ib, IIb and IIIb of the periodic table, such as Cu, Zn, B, etc., is prepared. Then the two compounds are dissolved in an organic solvent, hydrolyzed with water, condensed through dehydration and gelatinized. Then the gelatinized substance is gradually heated to give a solid substance, which is heated to about 700-800 deg.C to give an oxide superconducting material to become the aimed superconductor having a high critical temperature. |
