Vaccine against Schistosoma mansoni.

摘要

A monoclonal antibody which identifies the site of the Schistosoma mansoni parasite which elicits in a host a protective response. The molecular antibody binds with a 68,000 molecular weight antigen of Schistosoma mansoni. Such monoclonal antibody can be utilized to produce a vaccine for immunization against Schistosoma mansoni infection, the vaccine comprising substantially pure antigen which identifies the above-described monoclonal antibody.
