PURPOSE:To obtain the title precursor having high uniformity of composition and excellent sintering property, by precipitating an alkaline earth metal element compound and copper compound in a suspension containing a rare earth element compound particle. CONSTITUTION:An acidic solution [e.g., solution of Cu(NO3)2 and Ba(NO3)2] or alkoxide solution containing Cu and alkaline earth metal element singly or in mixed state is added to a suspension containing a rare earth element compound particle consisting of precipitated particle obtained by reacting a rare earth element compound [e.g., Y(OH)3] powder slightly soluble in a polar solvent such as water or alcohol having <=1mu particle size or an acidic solution [e.g., Y(NO3)3 solution] or alkoxide solution containing rare earth element component with a precipitation forming agent (e.g., NH3 water) so that atomic ratio of Cu, alkaline earth metal element and rare earth element is 3:2:1 and then a precipitation-forming agent (e.g., ammonium oxalate) is added to the mixture to provide precipitate of a copper compound and alkaline earth metal element compound. |
