<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the printing speed and printing quality from deteriorating by using a PAC liquid crystal driving mode panel which uses chiral nematic liquid crystal wherein spiral structure is eliminated as an exposing element. CONSTITUTION:The PAC liquid crystal driving mode panel which uses chiral nematic liquid crystal wherein the spiral structure is eliminated is used as the exposing element for the photoconductor of an electrophotographic printer. In liquid crystal driving mode PAC, leading and trailing edges respond in several hundreds of mus to the ON/OFF state of an electric field, so fast printing is spoiled in neither of the leading and trailing edges and a sufficient contrast ratio is obtained, so that the printing quality is not decreased.</p> |
