<p>PURPOSE:To quickly retrieve the content of a video signal recorded on a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:When the video signal is recorded on the recording medium, a recording content can be easily retrieved by inputting information with respect to the recording content and storing it in a storage means 115. Also, a recording signal at arbitrary time during recording is stored in the storage means 115 by a timer circuit 113, thereby, the recording content can be surely recognized. Also, retrieval can be quickly performed by displaying plural video signals stored in the storage means 115 on a display part 119. Also, a time at an arbitrary place on the recording medium is found from the information stored in the storage means 115 at a calculation circuit 114. and recording time can be prevented from coming short.</p> |
