METHOD OF GROWING PLANTS FROM ARBORACEOUS CUTTINGS.

A method of growing plants from arboraceous cuttings consists in preparing the soil of an even initial level; forming parallel ridges and furrows inbetween; planting the arboraceous cuttings on both sides of the furrows below the initial level of the soil, so that the cuttings are oriented parallel to the initial surface of the soil; treating the ground with herbicides before or after the planting of the cuttings, but before weeds start to grow; loosening the ridges for the first time after the growing plants have reached the tops of the ridges with subsequent loosening the ridges whenever weeds appear and termination of loosening when an even soil surface has been obtained; treating the soil with herbicides after termination of loosening and before the sprouting of the weeds.
