摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce a maximum experience magnetic field in a coil and to sufficiently obtain high stability, high performance and plasma access by providing a slit to a section in which the maximum experience magnetic field is generated, and forming a coil winding structure in which the winding is finely divided in its torus direction, thereby further approaching it to an ideal toroidal magnetic field coil continuous disposition. CONSTITUTION:In order to reduce a maximum experience magnetic field generated in a toroidal magnetic field coil, it is necessary to decrease a toroidal magnetic field ripple. Then, a slit 2 is formed at the maximum experience magnetic field generation section of a winding 1 of a conventional toroidal magnetic field coil, the winding is finely divided in its torus direction, and formed in a structure in which it is uniformly divided and disposed. Thus, a toroidal magnetic field ripple is reduced, and the maximum experience magnetic field generated in the winding is decreased. That is, it is effective to provide the slit in the maximum experience magnetic field is generated of the winding, and the winding and the structure of the slit are further effectively by a method of providing the slit by providing constant area of the winding by uniformizing the profile size of the winding.
