PURPOSE:To provide the title gelatin outstanding in emulsifying action, high in solubility to solvents, good in antibacterial activity and compatibility, in which the terminal carboxyl group in a specific gelatin decomposition product and the amino group in an aliphatic alcohol ester of alanine are mutually linked. CONSTITUTION:The objective gelatin in which (A) the terminal carboxyl group in a gelatin decomposition product with the amino group substituted by 2,4-bis(0- methoxy-polyethylene glycol)-s-triazine-6-yl and (B) the amino group in an aliphatic alcohol ester of alanine are linked to form an amide linkage. |
