PURPOSE: To improve versatility by changing a control signal to be inputted to any one of a scanning driver for performing the write drive of a matrix display panel and a data driver for performing modulation drive at least corresponding to a clock frequency. CONSTITUTION: When changing the control signal to the scanning driver of a display corresponding to a change in the display capacity of a personal computer(PC), a mechanism switch is fitted into a driving circuit and it is manually switched whether a scanning line is to activate the control signal for 400 line or the control signal for 200 line. Namely, when a switch is turned to high level Vcc, the control signal for 400 line is activated by an NOR circuit but when the switch is turned to low level GND, the control signal for 200 line is activated. Then, the active control signal becomes the control signal to the scanning driver. Thus, since the PC with different display capacity can be connected as well, the versatility of the display is improved.
