ATC TESTER

PURPOSE:To facilitate fixed position test on an ordinary storage track, by employing a portable ATC (Automatic Train Control) tester while converting a serial data produced from the tester into optical signals and feeding the optical signals through an optical connector to an ATC unit. CONSTITUTION:Upon depression of a switch for setting speed and limit speed of a tester 20, an address ROM21 is accessed through an interface circuit 31, and an output from ROM21 is employed for setting address of a speed data ROM22. Output from the speed data ROM22 is transmitted through an electro- optical converter 25, an optical plug 26, optical receptacle 41 of an ATC unit and a photoelectric converter 42 to a counter 5. A limit speed signal data address is transmitted through an electro-optical converter 29, an optical plug 30, an optical receptacle 45 and a photoelectric converter 46 to a memory 7. Consequently, test can be performed at any place.
