PURPOSE:To solve an problem on ghost phenomenon and to obtain a high-quality image with high reproduction performance by specifying a silicon/carbon atomic ratio and thickness in the second layer region of a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The photoconductive layer 6 has a layer structure formed by successively laminating the first layer region 6 made of amorphous silicon and the second layer region 7 made of amorphous silicon carbide Si(1-x)Cx, where 0.01<=x<=0.5, and having a thickness of 0.05-2mum, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be solved in the problem on the ghost phenomenon and enhanced in reproduction ability, performance, and reliability. |
