<p>PURPOSE:To prevent wear of a battery by using a notice signal so as to inform it if an instruction input is not detected for a prescribed time or over by a detection means and using a power interruption signal so as to interrupt the power supply thereby reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION:With an ON/OFF switch 474 of a switch section 470 set to ON, when a power is applied, a CPU of a radio section 300 sends a data to a liquid crystal display device 452 to a control section 418 if no key input is supplied from a key section 430 for a prescribed time set in advance to blink the display device. The key input within a prescribed time is discriminated by reading the state of a latch circuit for storing a key input signal in the control section 418 by the number of times corresponding to the prescribed time by the CPU. I key input from the key section 430 exists for a preset prescribed time or over after the blink of the liquid crystal display device 452, the CPU applies the control to turn off the ON/OFF switch 474 to interrupt the power supply.</p> |
