PURPOSE:To obtain a skin cosmetic, having excellent skin aging preventive and skin beatifying effects and useful for lotion, milky lotion, creams, packs, etc., by blending phosphoneolpyruvic acid having high energy-phosphoric acid bonds or salts thereof with other ingredients. CONSTITUTION:A skin cosmetic, obtained by blending phosphoenolpyruvic acid expressed by the formula or salts thereof (freely permeable cell membranes and directly convertible into adenosine triphosphate in cells) in an amount of preferably 0.01-3.0wt.% with other ingredients, and capable of accelerating skin function and skin aging preventing effects, such as having excellent rough skin improving, humectant or keratinous layer turnover promoting effects, and skin beautifying effects. The phosphoenolpyruvic acid is obtained by, reacting, e.g., 3-chlorolactic acid, with phosphoryl trichloride in dimethylaniline and treating the resultant phosphoryl-3-chlorolactic acid with an alcoholic caustic alkali. |
