PURPOSE:To improve high temperature durability so as to increase regeneration property (ignition temperature, peak temperature) by forming a coating a perovskite type complex oxide indicated by a specific chemical formula on a carrier having a filter function. CONSTITUTION:A filter for collecting particulate is constructed by forming a coating of perovskite type complex oxide indicated by a general formula A1-xA'xB1-yB'yO3 (in the formula, A represents more than one kinds of element selected from rare earth elements, A' represents more than one kinds of elements selected from alkaline earth elements, B, B' represent substances selected from Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, or 0<=x<=1, 0<=y<=1). This carrier may be a carrier for common filter for collecting particulate e.g., honeycomb structure such as cordierite alumina, mullite, etc. |
