<p>PURPOSE:To reduce noise with good efficiency by a method in which sound absorbers formed by attaching a visco-elastic material to a massive material at the joint face with steel pile are attached to steel pile at intervals in the longitudinal direction, and the steel pile is driven into the ground. CONSTITUTION:A visco-elastic material 4 of rubber or synthetic resin is attached to the inner surface of a mass material 3 consisting of a pair of halved steel rings to form a sound absorber 2. The sound absorbers 2 are attached to a steel pile 1 at a given interval by clamping the pile 1 put between the mass materials 3 by bolt and clamps 6. The pile 1 is driven into the ground, and the absorbers 2 are removed before they come into contact with the ground or sink into water for reuse for driving the next piles 1.</p> |
