PURPOSE:To facilitate an operation for mounting and assembling a rotary polyhedral mirror by boring >=3 pieces of vent holes set at an equal angle to an annular fitting part provided between a motor rotor mounted with the rotary polyhedral mirror and the rotary polyhedral mirror and setting a specified spacing between the rotary polyhedral mirror and the annular fitting part. CONSTITUTION:The spacing between the rotary polyhedral mirror 1 and the motor rotor 5 is so formed by the pressure of compressed air as to be held constant over the entire circumference when said air is injected into the spacing from the plural vent holes 3 bored to the annular fitting part 2 after the rotary polyhedral mirror 1 is fitted into the annular fitting part of the motor rotor 5; therefore, the rotary polyhedral mirror 1 is displaced so as to be disposed in the position of the equal spacing from the motor rotor 5 and is stopped. The rotary polyhedral mirror 1 is fixed to the motor rotor 5 in the form of correcting the eccentricity thereof by tightening lock screws 6, etc., while injecting the compressed air in continuation to the vent holes 3 in the state of holding the rotary polyhedral mirror 1 in the balanced state in such a manner. The ease of the operation and the exactness of the assembly are thereby maintained. |
