PURPOSE:To edit only optional image area so as to print and to give an image editing function to an image forming device without using many parts of mechanism by controlling the driving of an image scanning means according to the information of a specified area which is optionally specified by an area specification means. CONSTITUTION:After various kinds of keys operating control signals from an operation panel 36 are received by a control part 47 consisting of one chip microprocessor, etc., of a microfilm reader/printer, a main motor 21, a shutter solenoid 22c and cursor pulse motor 31M, etc., are controlled to be driven through corresponding drivers D in response to the control signals and thereafter a lighting control circuit 24a is actuated. If cursor operating keys 37a and 37b are operated when the image is displayed on a microfilm projector 23 by the control part 47, the moving positions of relative cursors 31a and 31b to a screen 30 are obtained according to the number of pulses for the motor 31M and only information of the optional image area is edited to be printed by specifying the display area of the panel 36. |
