<p>PURPOSE: To gradually release electrostatic charges, by connecting a ground line of a circuit of a card to a card frame which is constituted so as to be in contact with an assembling frame, through high resistance, before both connectors are brought into contact with the card frame. CONSTITUTION: A printed circuit board 11 is an insulating retainer for retaining many electronic components such as an integrated circuit 12, a discrete constituent element 13 and a connector 15 which connects a circuit on a card to external constituent elements by a switch and a pin 16. A card 10 is connected to a back bus through an edge connector 17. A resistor 26 connects a circuit ground line 25 to a rear end bracket 18, via a short conductive line 27 connected to a pad 28 under a screw 23, a conductive shell 16 of the connector 15 and a screw 19. Thereby, the circuit on the card is protected from discharge, when a connector on an electrostatic card is connected to a connector which is engaged with the connector on an electronic component assembling body.</p> |
