PURPOSE:To attain a fine frequency processing with a large template in a short period by interpolating in the horizontal and vertical directions for a picture and executing the weighted adding and weighted subtracting between the picture obtained by this and an original picture. CONSTITUTION:The picture read from a picture memory 1 is written to a picture memory 2 through a 1:1 interpolating device 6. The picture of the picture memory 2 is written through the 1:1 interpolating device 6 into the picture memory 2 again or a prescribed coefficient is multiplied through a multiplier 3 to the value of respective pixel values and sent to the input of one side of adder subtracter 5. The picture stored into the picture memory 1 is sent through a subtracter 4 to the input of other side of the adder subtracter 5. The output picture of the adder subtracter 5 is written to the picture memory 1. |
