PURPOSE:To obtain a desired electric current density, by injecting a slurry where an oxide superconductor or the melt of a material thereof and/or an oxide superconductor powder or a material thereof are dispersed in a dispersion medium to a molding where a space passing through in the spiral form is formed and, after solidifying its molding, treating it with heat in an atmosphere of oxygen. CONSTITUTION:After mixing well and burning a Y2O3 powder, a BaCO3 powder, a CuO powder, and the like, they are reduced to powder of an oxide superconductor. And its powder is put in a crucible made of platinum to obtain a melt of the oxide superconductor powder by treating with heat. Then, the melt obtained is injected in a compact which is shaped in the hollow-cylindrical form having a spiral space inside the compact and then, after cooling it, it is treated with heat in an atmosphere of oxygen. The introduction of oxygen in an oxygen vacancy in a crystal structure of the foregoing superconductor improves its superconductive characteristics and a superconductor coil is obtained. In its coil 1, the oxide superconductor 3 is injected in the spiral spaces in the molding which is made by laminating a plurality of chute bodies 2 made of alumina sintered molding having openings at one end of ring-shaped grooves where a place in each groove is cut so that an opening part may come into contact with a non-opening part of the groove of other chute body 2a. |
