PURPOSE:To effectively and surely detect an area to execute the anti-aliasing processing by obtaining an area to execute the anti-aliasing processing from the inherent cause where this occurs. An oversample point setting means 3 sets an oversample point, determines the luminance value and the identifier and holds them. A processing stopping deciding means 4 compares the set oversample point and the identifier of the processing object picture element, and at the time of the coincidence, the processing is stopped and at the time of non-coincidence, the oversample is further executed. When the number of the times of the oversampling arrives at the number specified beforehand, a sample frequency supervising means 5 stops the processing. A luminance value averaging means 6 averages the luminance of the processing object picture element and respective oversample points and makes it into the luminance value of the processing object picture element. |
