PURPOSE:To surely prevent toner leakage by providing supporting holes for adjusting a doctor position to the side frames of a developing device unit body and inserting and supporting both end part of the doctor freely adjustably in these supporting holes. CONSTITUTION:The doctor 10 is provided to a pair of developing rollers 2, 3 which are positioned above and below adjacently to each other in the developing device unit body 1 along the longitudinal direction, i.e. in the transverse direction across the side frames 1a of the developing device unit body 2. Both end parts 10a of the doctor 10 are inserted and supported freely adjustably in transverse and vertical positions in the relatively large supporting holes 13 for adjusting the doctor position in such a manner that said parts can be hermetically closed by closing means 17 provided on the inner side of the side frames 1a of the developing device unit body 1. The toner leakage, is therefore, surely prevented and the contamination in the device body is obviated. |
