PURPOSE:To instantaneously display a contour line by converting color information read out from an image memory into a specific value and displaying the converted value when depth information read out from a depth memory coincides with a certain specific value. CONSTITUTION:In case of displaying the contour line, a display processor 1 stores depth information for displaying the contour line in a depth information register 5 and stores color information for contour display in a color information register 6. The depth information read out from the depth memory 3 is compared with the depth information stored in the register 5 by a comparator 8, and when both the values coincide with each other, a signal indicating the coincidence is sent to a selector 7. When the signal from the comparator 8 indicates coincidence, the selector 7 selects the color information stored in the register 6, and when the signal from the comparator 8 indicates noncoincidence, selects the color information read out from the image memory 2 and sends the selected information to a display device 9. Consequently, the contour can be instantaneously displayed. |
