PURPOSE:To speed up the heating of the room considerably in a temperature control system such as the use of a hot air type heater when the room temperature is below a specific temperature at the start of the apparatus by driving the apparatus at an output exceeding the rated max. within a limited time. CONSTITUTION:A hot air type heater has a program of its operating sequence stored in a microcomputer 1. An output signal from the means for setting the room temperature 3 and one from the means for detecting the room temperature 2, an electronic circuit containing a thermistor, are both inputted to the means for computing the gas quantity 4 in the microcomputer 1. On the basis of the signals representing the set room temperature and the detected room temperature the means for computing the gas quantity 4 finds the quantity of the gas required and outputs the voltage signal accordingly. A means for converting the voltage to the current 5 converts the voltage signal from the means for computing the gas quantity 4 to a signal for a current directed to a proportional valve 13 which controls the fuel feed to the burner. When the room temperature is below a set point at the start of the operation, a means for increasing the current to the proportional supply unit 14 is actuated to increase the current to the proportional valve 13 above the rated output. |
