PURPOSE:To make a printing means abut uniformly against a conveying means, by a method wherein a plurality of elastic means are provided along a longitudinal direction of the printing means between the printing means and a ribbon cassette, and the printing means is uniformly pressured. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of springs 19i are provided by separating at a specific interval inside a head casing 19a comprising a thermal head 19, and a head base 19b is pressured in a platen roller direction with this spring 19i. Thereafter, each part in a longitudinal direction of the thermal head 19 can be made to abut against a platen roller by uniform pressure, and printing uneveness is enabled to be prevented from occurring. Further, since a storage part (h) containing the spring 19i of the head box material 19a is positioned between bobbins 52a, 52b of a ribbon cassette 52, enlargement of a shape of the ribbon cassette 52 can be avoided. |
