PURPOSE:To enable easy installation of a ribbon cartridge by fixing a magnet in a position corresponding to the tip of a ribbon drive transmission shaft on the internal wall of a ribbon feed roller and at the same time, providing a magnetic substance which is freely retractable in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:When a ribbon cartridge 7 is installed, a ribbon drive transmission shaft 4 is inserted into a ribbon feed roller 1, and a rectangular magnetic substance 6 which is retractable in the axial direction at the tip of the ribbon drive transmission shaft 4 is attracted to a circular magnet 5 fixed to a position corresponding to the ribbon drive transmission shaft 4 on the internal wall of the ribbon feed roller 1. The ribbon feed roller 1 and the ribbon drive transmission shaft 4 are easily fixed by attraction of the magnetic substance 6 and the magnet 5. As a result, the ribbon cartridge 7 is easily set. |
