DETECTING DEVICE FOR SLUDGE INTERFACE OF SEDIMENTATION BASIN IN PURIFICATION PLANT

PURPOSE:To stably detect a sludge interface by allowing an image pickup device to ascend and descend in a sedimentation basin, bringing image information to sampling and detecting a variation of a luminance. CONSTITUTION:An image pickup device fitting tank 1 is installed in a sedimentation basin of a purification plant, and an image pickup device 2 provided with an irradiating device 3 ascends and descends therein. Image information from this image pickup device 2 is inputted to an image recognizing part 6 and the luminance is calculated. This luminance information is inputted to a luminance difference calculating part 8 through an A/D converter 7, and a sedimentation basin sludge interface position is decided by the luminance difference. A driving part control circuit 9 outputs an output for controlling an image pickup device driving part 4 to a driving part motor circuit 5, and a position signal of the image pickup device 2 outputted from an image pickup position detecting part 10 is outputted to a sludge controller 13 through a D/A converting part 11 and an image pickup device position output part 12.
