The subject of this invention is a hydropneumatic accumulator comprising a casing 2 inside which is fitted, in a sealed manner, a membrane 3 dividing the casing into a first chamber 4 containing liquid and a second chamber 5, containing gas closed off by a stopper welded to the casing.
