<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the subject used paper stock-dissolving and screening machine that can efficiently recover a fibrous substance in high yield and gives the paper stock of good quality with reduced foreign contaminants in a stabilized concentration, flow rate, and quality by combining a pulper, a separated auxiliary pulper and a composite screen in one unit. CONSTITUTION: This pulper P, a separated auxiliary pulper U and a composite screen T are combined and concentrated in one unit so that the inner peripheral area of the crude sieve holes of the strainer of the pulper P is communicated to the tank 25 of the pulper, while the outer peripheral area of the fine sieve holes of the strainer is communicated to the tank 34 of the screen T. The agitation impeller 3 is arranged near the strainer of the pulper P to discriminate slightly dissolving substances from useful fibrous substances. In the pulper U, the mixed useful fibrous substance is separated from the slightly dissolving substance and sent together with the useful fibrous substance from the pulper P to the composite screen where these fibrous substances are doubly purified.</p> |
