PURPOSE:To provide a cleaner not considered to be a cause of the destruction of an ozone layer in the stratosphere and capable of well removing oils by using 1,1-dichloro-2(1)-fluoroethane as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:This degreasing cleaner contains 1,1-dichloro-2-fluoroethane or 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane as an effective component. Other various components may be added to the cleaner according to the purposes for which the cleaner is used. For example, in order to increase the solvent power, hydrocarbons, alcohols and ketones may be added. The cleaner has moderate solvent power comparable to that of conventional 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2- trifluoroethane considered to be a cause of the destruction of an ozone layer in the stratosphere. The cleaner can degrease and clean composite parts composed of a metal, plastics and elastomer without adversely affecting the parts. |
