The system has at least two loudspeakers, intended for high-quality sound reproduction, mainly in the region of consumer electronics. The input signal on the input terminal (1) is amplified by a comparison amplifier (3) and applied to the input of a passive crossover (6). Thereafter it is divided by means of the passive crossover (6) into respective frequency bands and applied to the input terminals of the respective loudspeakers (9, 10). The voltages on the input terminals of the loudspeakers are attenuated by the corresponding attenuation-correcting tripoles (12, 15) and applied to the second input of the comparison amplifier.
