A pipe connection has a ring (1) which is arranged in the region of the point of abutment of pipes (6, 7) and exhibits, on at least one side, a plurality of, preferably four, pivot levers (3) which are mounted on the ring (1), such that they can pivot about pins (36) aligned tangentially thereto, and the pipe-side lever arms (37) of which rest on a shoulder (32) which is provided in the region of the pipe end and belongs to an elevation (31). Provision is made for at least one internally threaded ring (2) which is screwed onto a thread (39), provided on the outer side of the ring (1), and, in order to brace the pivot levers (3) against the shoulder (32), rests on the lever arms (38), directed away from the pipe (6), of the pivot levers (3). <IMAGE>
