A PLL device aiming at shortening the drawing time even for a large change in phase of signals that intermittently appears in the form of a continuous wave of a finite length like color burst signals. The above object can be solved by preparing a plurality of sub-reference signals by delaying the output (S6) of a voltage controlled oscillator (6) using a synchronizing signal select circuit (7), dividing the frequency of said plurality of sub-reference signals based upon a trigger signal (S12) in agreement with a phase position of the input signal (S1), and logically synthesizing them to obtain an output signal (S15) in agreement with the phase of the input signal (S1). Then, an error signal sent to a phase comparator (2) due to a difference in the frequency between the output signals (S15) and the input signals (S1), is input to the voltage controlled oscillator (6) inclusive of sections where no input signal (S1) appears, such that the frequency of the output signals (S15) come into agreement with that of the input signals (S1). |
