It is known to control rinsing processes, which have a plurality of rinsing cycles and in which the liquid level oscillates between an upper and a lower predeterminable level, by means of programme cams arranged on the programme drum. The capacity of the programme drum is restricted as a result. The new control is to be capable of being produced in a simple way and is not to restrict the capacity of the programme drum. In order to relieve the programme drum with regard to the control of the rinsing process, a second circuit (12) for cutting in a run-off pump (10) can be closed via a switch (15) which can be actuated by reversing cams which can be arranged on a reversing drum of the programme-control unit. <IMAGE>
