PURPOSE:To provide a compact impedance matching converter which does not depend on a signal wavelength. CONSTITUTION:A first-order transmission line 2 is formed on a rectangular dielectric substrate 1 of 9.0mmX5.0mm by a strip line so that an impedance on the side of the first-order transmission line 2 can be 100OMEGA and an impedance on the side of a second-order transmission line 3 can be 50OMEGA, and the second- order transmission line 3 is formed by a strip line while interposing an insulating member 4 at the upper part of the first-order transmission line 2. Thus, this device can be extremely miniaturized without depending on the signal wavelength, and the shape of a host device such as a BS antenna using this device can be miniaturized. Further, a matching frequency can be easily changed by changing the shapes of the first-order transmission line and the second-order transmission line or by changing the relative positions of these lines. |
