PURPOSE:To preferentially display the candidate of a idiom constituting KANJI (Chinese character) at the time of converting an idiom as the synthesization of the single KANJI. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a single KANJI dictionary 5 equipped with information for each candidate KANJI to be the output object of single KANJI conversion so as to show whether the KANJI is the idiom constituting KANJI or not, and single KANJI conversion control part 4 to perform single KANJI conversion for reading information to be the object of single KANJI conversion while referring to this dictionary. Further, this device is provided with an idiom judge part 3 for judging whether the relevant information is any idiom or not from the reading information of the single KANJI conversion object, and single KANJI display control part 6 for preferentially display and output the idiom constituting KANJI at the time of outputting the candidate KANJI corresponding to the reading information when this judge part 3 judges that the information is the idiom. |
