PURPOSE:To effectively shut-off the outside vibration from transmitting to a control cable by a structure wherein a weight is provided integrally with a cable cap fitted to one end of the outer casing of the control cable. CONSTITUTION:The cable cap 1, which is fitted to one end of the control cable containing the outer casing 2, consists in concentrically provided a bottomed outer casing fitting-in hole 3, to which one end of the outer casing 2 is fitted, and an inner cable inserting hole 4. The nearly tubular weight 5 is fitted to one end side of said cap 1 by means of a bonding hole 6 with an enlarged inner diametrical part 6a formed at the end of the weight 5. In order to manufacture the above-mentioned cap 1, the weight 5, to which the outer casing 2 has been fitted beforehand, is positioned in a split-cavity mold 10 and then resin is charged in a cavity 16 under the state that the core 14 of a core mold 15 is inserted in the hole of the casing 2 in order to be solidified and then formed. |
