PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a good conversion efficiency by providing a striped metallic electrode on at least one of the transparent conductive films, thereby reducing the sheet resistance. CONSTITUTION:In a semi-transparent solar cell wherein on a glass substrate 1 a transparent conductive film 2a, a semiconductor layer and a transparent conductive film 2b are sequentially stacked, and wherein the semiconductor layer consists of a p-layer 41 composed of semi-transparent silicon carbide, an i-layer 42 composed of semi-transparent silicon carbide and an n-layer 43 composed of semi-transparent silicon, a striped metallic electrode 3a or 3b is provided on at least one of the transparent conductive films 2a, 2b. Therefore, the power loss due to the transparent conductive films 2a, 2b can be greatly reduced while maintaining the transparency. With this, the photo-electricity conversion efficiency can be improved. |
