<p>Machine for automatic adjustment and measurement of the output length and the diameter of a tool. The invention concerns machine for automatic adjustment and measurement of the output length and the diameter of a tool (2) mounted in a conical mandrel (3) co-operating with a machine holding cone (7), the mandrel (3) comprising means (9) for clamping and means (17) for adjusting said tool. The machine comprises a frame (25), two carriages (26 and 27) movably mounted on the frame, the first carriage (26) comprising a holding cone (7) for holding the conical mandrel fitted with the tool, control means (31, 32, 35, 39) acting on said clamping means (9) and adjustment means (17), the second carriage (27) comprising means (48) for detecting and measuring said tool for measuring the output length of the tool (2) with respect to the mandrel (3) when the tool comes into contact with the means (48), the tool being brought into contact with the detection means by the adjustment means, and for contactless measurement of the tool diameter.</p> |
