PURPOSE:To provide medical information to a therapist and a medical educationist in a form easy to use by generating and displaying a tomographic image from three-dimensional information in read out medical information. CONSTITUTION:The almost continuous retrieval image of a part or the whole of a human body stored in a retrieval image memory 75 is read out and displayed by designation means 13-15, and also, the designation of a cross-section on a displayed retrieval image is inputted, and information equivalent to the cross-section by a designated line inputted by the designation means 13-15 is read out of a first memory 42 which stores the medical information corresponding to each part of the retrieval image as the three-dimensional information and a second memory 43 which stores the diagnostic information of a part in common to at least a part of the retrieval image, and it is displayed as comparing with the tomographic image. In such a way, it is possible to provide the medical information to the therapist and the medical educationist rapidly in the form easy to use. |
