The invention relates to bearing blocks for a conveying system, having a pulling member which is guided on a carrier and is deflected, at the ends of the carrier, around deflection rollers which are mounted on the bearing blocks and are arranged perpendicularly with respect to the longitudinal extent of the carrier. In order to design a bearing block of the abovementioned type such that it can be easily inserted and removed in order to inspect the pulling member, it is proposed that each bearing block (10) bear, by means of an upper claw (12), on a horizontal carrier way (2) of the carrier (1) and be supported, by means of a supporting tip (14) of a lower claw (13) which is longer than the upper claw (12), on the carrier way (2) from beneath, and that the lower claw (13) has a pivot-out undercut (15) for tilting the bearing block around the end side of the carrier web (2), and the rear side of the bearing block (10) has, towards the bottom, a bevel (16) which is directed towards the carrier (1) such that the bearing block (10) tapers downwards between the bevel (16) and the pivot-out undercut (15). <IMAGE>
