PURPOSE:To enable the power of an engine to be effectively utilized by letting a plurarity of electromagnetic clutches be selectively actuated depending on engine operations, concurrently controlling the respective electromagnetic clutches to be inoperative at once at the time of acceleration, and thereby interrupting the transmission of the power to accessaries. CONSTITUTION:An output pulley 20 is rotatably supported via a bearing 18 around an input shaft 10 connected with the crank shaft 12 of an engine. And the input shaft 10 is rotatably supported by an electromagnet housing 34 via a bearing 36. Furthermore, plural numbers of electromagnetic clutches 48 and 56 are composed of plural numbers of electromagnetic coils 38 and 40 arranged for the electromagnet housing 34 and of plural numbers of armatures 44 and 52 facing the aforesaid coils respectively. And each electromagnetic clutch 48 and 56 is respectively controlled by an electronic control device 41. In this case, each electromagnetic clutch 48 and 56 is controlled to be inoperative at once at the time of acceleration and the like, thereby interrupting the power transmission between the input shaft 10 and the input pulley 20. |
