A heating cable has at least two electric conductors (9,10) extending longitudinally of each other in spaced relation. Each of the conductors (9, 10) has an insulating coating (11) which complete covers the respective conductors (9, 10) except for apertures (12) in the conductors (9, 10), which are spaced longitudinally thereof. The apertures (12) are arranged alternately in the conductors (9, 10) which are surrounded by a continuous plastic layer (13) or relatively low and substantially temperature-independent resistivity. The plastic layer (13) is in contact with the conductors (9, 10) through the apertures (12), and an electrically insulating outer layer (14) covers the plastic layer (13) completely. |
