PURPOSE:To prevent so called seasickness by eliminating the up and down movement of the body when an air chamber is expanded and contracted, by arranging a check valve to the place being the inflow air circuit to an air mat but not being the outflow air circuit to said mat corresponding to each air chamber. CONSTITUTION:The air emitted from an air pump 7 is guided to a sound arresting tank 8 to be sent to an air chamber 3 through air circuits 12a, 18 and the air of the air chamber 3 passes through the air circuit 18 to be discharged to the outside from the discharge hole 9a of a solenoid valve 9 but the arranging positions of check valves 19a, 19b are set to the arbitrary parts of air circuits 12a, 12b containing the mount parts of the sound arresting tank 8 and solenoid valves 9, 11. When the solenoid valve 11 is turned ON in such a state that the air chamber is in an expanded state and the solenoid valve 9 is in an ON-state, the pressure in the sound arresing tank 8 suddenly falls and pressure difference is generated to close the check valve 19a and, therefore, the pressure in the air chamber 3 is not lowered and, when the solenoid valve 9 is turned OFF thereafter, the discharge hole 9a communicates with the air chamber 3 through an outlet 25 and air is discharged to the atmosphere. Therefore, the seasickness phenomenon of a patient can be prevented. |
