The circuit has the function of measuring position, speed and direction of revolution of a rotor of at a distance place. The sensor includes fixed electrodes on a fixed body and rotary electrodes on a rotor. Each electrode forms a capacitor and the encoder perceives the input signal and variation of capacitance so as to sense the angular position, speed, and direction. To measure at a remote measuring center, the encoder includes a carrier generator, a modulator for preventing mutual interference of adjacent signals, a noise reduction circuit.
